Power Balance Hologram

You've probably seen on the news lately all the fuss about the Power balance hologram and its "holy" powers. I'm not here to judge, I just would like to point out and continue in the debate that has attracted many readers to this website and to those who have created an excellent debate about the subject.

Scam Or Not: The Hologram's Power

I've made a few searches over the World Wide Web to find out what people thought about it and the results are indeed frightening: from people and athletes complaining about how their holograms are turning black and are no longer effective to people that swear by it.

Whether your power balance hologram is turning black or not does not really concerns me. What I really want to know is whether you believe or not that these power bands actually work and how they have changed your life; if in fact they did. I will quote some statements that I've found over the web so you can too see what other people think and we can maybe discuss it.

Myth Busters: Do Power Balance Wristbands Work?

Let me first and foremost quote a small reply that the user "big hec62" made on a forum:

"i was waking up with shoulder pain for months, i bought the necklace i wore it, i took it off at night (don’t like to sleep with jewelry on) i put it under my sheet were i sleep woke up with no pain, today is day 5 still no pain.
bought the band for my son he plays little league baseball he has not hit it out of the infield-- wore it hit a fly ball out field half way to the fence and rolled 5 feet from it he just turned 8 ,is it all in my mind call me gullible but i will continue wearing it. The 5 day without shoulder pain was worth it i am not a sales man and have never heard of this till 5 days ago."

Let me call attention to the part where he says "is it all in my mind call me gullible but I will continue wearing it." Doesn't this phrase catch you completely off-guard and surprises you? I know I was completely shocked when I saw this. I mean, it is one thing to believe in these power balance hologram, but to actually go as far as to call oneself "gullible" with no regards to what that really means, for me it is shocking. How far can society go into believing things that people say on television? How much should we really believe on all those pretty smiles that we see on television? I guess we should draw a line somewhere.

A Small Power Balance Video Test

Additionally, I've found on the web people discussing how these power bands bracelets are in fact acting like a placebo effect: you get the results that your mind pre-programmed for you. Applied Kinesiology might also be another often found when people refer to power bands holograms and scams. Like I've mentioned in this article, some people do not believe that there is indeed a power bands scam going on and that these energy bracelets really work. True or not, take a look at this power bands video on how they "test" the benefits you would be getting by wearing a power balance wristband:

Take a look and see what you think about it. Have you ever tried wearing a power band? Have you tested? Do you believe it really works or that there is indeed a big power balance bands fraud going on? Power balance hologram is at the center of this whole debate and there is much more to discuss about than just a single "drawing" on a rubber bracelet. Let's see how far this will go.
